I’m always on the lookout for new tools and program that can help entrepreneurs grow their businesses, work more efficiently, and make their lives easier. I get a huge kick out of playing with fun new systems, and I’m always excited when I discover a new gem! (Even if it’s just new to me. 😊)
Though this tool isn’t really new, I’ve just started playing with it and I’m in love!
Typeform is an easy way to send surveys to clients and customers.
Trust me, it’s so much easier than sending a list of questions in an email! The questionnaires are easy to create, easy for clients and customers to fill out (even if they aren’t tech savvy), and with lots of easy-to-use features, you can gather just about any type of information you need.
When your audience completes the survey, all the answers are sent to your account and you can download the file or copy them to another doc. Super simple.
So why send surveys?
You might be reading this and thinking “Big deal. I don’t really send surveys anyway.”
Well, with this tool, you might. It’s really fun to do, and surveys can be extremely valuable for your business. Knowledge is power. Information is gold. And how do you get the information you want from your audience? By asking.
Reasons you might want to send a survey to your clients and customers:
- To gather feedback and testimonials (that reason alone is enough to convince me!)
- To conduct market research and find out what kinds of products and services your customers are looking for
- Generate leads
- Employee feedback
- Send a quiz as an optin or educational tool.
- Gather specifications for a custom service so you can send them a quote.
- Customer intake forms for onboarding (it really cuts down on email!)
- Applications for team members
- Intake forms for guest posters, podcast guests, etc.
Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but you can get creative. Questionnaires have tons of uses in business.
Typeform isn’t just about customer surveys! There are so many different ways to use this program. Here are just a few examples I’ve seen.
One of my team members uses Typeform to get testimonials from her clients. She simply sends a survey they can fill out, then she pieces their comments together into a cohesive testimonial that they can approve.
It’s way easier for the clients than writing a testimonial from scratch, which means you’re more likely to get testimonials in the first place. And they’ll be higher quality too!
Surveys are easier for people than just writing out their thoughts. You’re bound to get more quality information when you send questionnaires in this easy format.
I’ve also seen a lot of businesses use Typeform for job applications, because these surveys make it so easy to collect information from applicants. You just set up your questions and post the link to your website, and the applications go right into a spreadsheet!
On a similar note, many coaches use Typeform for applications to their high-end programs for the same reason. All it takes is one form to collect the applicant data, and then you can view the answers all in one place. Simple!
