Your business is probably one of the most important things in your life. You’ve put so much heart and work into your business; it’s your baby! Like anything else that’s important to us, it’s nice to spruce things up a little and give them some TLC. Regular evaluations keep things fresh, exciting, and running smoothly. There’s no time like the present to give your business a makeover!

“Happiness does not come from doing easy work but from the afterglow of satisfaction that comes after the achievement of a difficult task that demanded our best.

Let’s give your business a little love this month!

Here are my favorite tips to give your business a makeover.

Daydream

Where would you love your business to be in a year? Are there any projects you’ve wanted to put into action, but haven’t yet? Is there something you’d LOVE to do with your business? Write those things down and come up with a few action steps to start moving in that direction.

Fix the leaks

There are probably little things in your business that have been driving you nuts. Maybe it’s something to do with your branding, or maybe a navigation thing on your website. Maybe you’ve been clinging to a marketing technique that isn’t working for you anymore. Take a close look at your systems, strategy, and finances to see what’s working and what isn’t so you can clean things up and stop those leaks! For more help with this and a checklist you can download, check out this post.

What will help your business grow?

If you’ve been spending a lot of time on day-to-day tasks, you might have lost touch with the big picture. Take some time to think about what would really take your business to the next level and what you need to do to make it happen. If you need to get some education, sign up for that course you’ve been eyeing for months. Invest in that business coach. Maybe you’ve known you’ve needed to outsource for a while because doing everything yourself just isn’t working out, so now might be the perfect time to hire a Virtual Assistant or Online Business Manager.

Get a clean start

You know how refreshed and inspired you feel when your home is clear and decluttered? A clear inbox or desk can have the same effect (and might result in a productivity and motivation boost!). Maybe you need to clean out your inbox, online storage, or computer files, or maybe you need to clear off your actual desk! Do your business a favor and set aside some time to clean up.

Give your website a facelift

Our websites can get cluttered just like our computer files or workspace. This is a great time to clear out some old blog content (make sure to redirect those URLs though so Google won’t punish you!). Maybe you could make some website tweaks to make your site easier to navigate, or update your headshots. This doesn’t have to be an expensive or labor intensive task, because even small tweaks can complete change the look and feel of a website.

Hire some help

Too many entrepreneurs sit on this decision for too long! Outsourcing is one of the biggest things you can do to grow your business because it frees you up to actually figure out how to grow your business and put that plan into action! If you’re looking for help growing your business, here’s how I can help.

It’s easy to get caught in the day-to-day and neglect the things that keep our business running smoothly, so I’m giving you permission now to take care of those tasks! Schedule the time now (or hire the help) to give your business a little love. You’ll be so glad you did!

I want to save time & repurpose my content. Give me that checklist!
